Trust Company Pays Up All Obligations Officers and directors of the Monroe County Trust Company met last Thursday and made final settlement with the Paris Savings Bank, which undertook the job of liquidation when it went out of business 18 months ago. Every obligation has now been canceled. Not a penny of loss was suffered by any patron of the institution. All depositors were paid in full within a month after business was suspended. The loyalty of stockholders was evidenced by 65 of them signing a bond which otherwise would have fallen to the lot of the directors when liquidation was decided upon. A good many notes, still considered good, are outstanding and all money realized on them will be divided among stockholders. That the Trust Company was in sound condition and that its depositors were in no danger of loss or inconvenience when the closing order was given seems to have been very thoroughly demonstrated. Martin Family Reunion. The Martin family held a reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hedden, just north of Paris, Sunday. The two sisters and four of the six brothers were present, together with thirty other relatives. An elaborate dinner was a reunion feature.
