DOORS CLOSED AT BLUEJACKET BANK Suspension Follows Examination of Books; Negotiations for Merger Under Way. Bluejacket, Okla., Jan. 26.βThe Bluejacket State bank has been closed following an examination of its books by a state bank examiner. It is understood that no irregularities have been found and that the action of closing the bank was caused by the inability of the bank to collect heavy agricultural and stock loans. Negotiations are under way for the First National bank to take over the assets of the state bank and assume its liabilities, according to K. C. Henry, cashier of the First National bank. The state bank had $10,000 capital and deposits totaling $38,000. J. H. Hodge was president and C. H. Orr, cashier. Trim Arrested Again On "Dope" Sale Charge Hobart Trim, 26 years old, was arrested at his home in Picher Thursday night by Sheriff Cal Garman and Deputy Newt Cox on a warrant charging him with selling narcotics. He was indicted last month by the county grand jury on two counts for selling cocaine. According to attaches of the sheriff's office, Trim has a long criminal record. He has been arrested numerous times on narcotic charges, and served 18 months in the state penitentiary for passing worthless checks.
