MONTANA BANK CLOSED Suspension Is Ordered by Directors of Institution. BILLINGS, Mont., Dec. 18.β€”The Rock Creek State bank of Joliet, Mont., failed to open for business Monday morning, according to word received here today. The action was taken by the directors of the institution, according to a notice on the bank door. The bank is capitalized at $25,000.

Miss Alma Mallin returned Wednesday from Butte where she has been visiting friends, and relatives for the past two weeks. Mr. L. F. Evans was in the city Monday between trains attending to business, concerning his ranch below Silesia. He is also the traveling salesman for the Midland Fruit Co., of Billings. # DANCE-The Odd Fellows and Rebeckah Lodge will give a dnace at the Dimich Hall, Saturday, March 29th. 2-1p W. B. Pierce, receiver of the Rock Creek State Bank at Joliet, was a business visitor in Fed Lodge Wednesday on matters in connection with his work at Joliet. John Tarro, accompanied by his mother left Sunday for Southern parts of California. Mr. Tarro was an employee of the Plunkett Hardware. Try the Pollard Barber Shop. We aim to please. Ladies and Childrens Taking advantage of a wee's vacation from his school duties, Jack Fleming, is visiting with his parents Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Fleming, until the Spring quarterly semester of the State University at Missoula shall begin again. Mr. Jake Newell, accompanied by his wife, departed Wednesday, for Billings, where they shall attend the merchants convention at that city, and visit with old friends.
